Alluring Aquatic

So I've been waiting for this collection to drop for months now and what can I say I'm nothing but disappoint by this collection. Truthfully I would I have past all together on this AA, but after seeing the lovely packaging I knew that I had to walk  way with something. I mean who could resist that gorgeous rain drop embedded turquoise bullet despite unappealing products the packaging is very eye  catching, hints the name Alluring Aquatic!

I only watched one review prior to the store released and the one product that I knew I was going to get was the Clear Water lipglass. The name speaks for itself it a nice nude gloss but what made it desirable was that it was loaded with iridescent shimmer. One moment it appears as peachy nude, but under the right lighting you see all the eye catching lilacs and teals within the shimmers!

I would have felt incomplete I only left with a lip glass so I snagged the only lipstick that I felt would be flattering on me. Enchanted One is you're typical peachy matte nude nothing fancy, but I got it because it reminded me of my bad girl riri and I thought it would look nice with its sister lipglass plus it was matte. The only thing that I can say about this lippie is that I'll definitely need a liner for her I was thinking g of something like a red brown like spice lip liner!

Overall this collection was a disappointment for me. I don't think the other products were ebony girl friendly which is why I passed on them but MAC more than sold on the great packaging!

Does her nails match her LIPSTICK?

While I was browsing through my local mac counter as usual I came a cross some of their nail products
You would think after all these years of me buying MAC products I would know that sold matching nail laquers, glosses and polishes! Where have I been? under a rock apparently. I never get my nails done and my poor nail look piteful from my Onychophagia.... nail biting disorder. I practically bite them down to the numb skin included! Sickening.  I recently added Mac's Girl About Town Lipstick into my collection a few months back so when I realized they had a matching nail polish I new I had to grab it.

Imagine this you're out on the town with your girls in your little black dress hair curled and layed. Your face is beat to the gods with your hot pink lips and matching nails!

I don't know how MAC managed but these two products really are a set to match  and I for one am in love with this dou. I got my nails done at my local Walmart just for something cheap to try this look out I spent under 20. I got them short but next time around I think I want them long like really long or maybe I'll get claws!  I'm definitely feeling the mac polishes they are a little bit of a splurge item for $17 but I feel like I need to have the coordinating polish to my lippies. So stay tuned for more nail looks from me!

Lorde's M.A.C Lipstick, Pure Heroine

I'm not a huge fan of the new upcoming artist Lorde, but I do like her new lippie!
From what I know about her style wise she isn't your everyday girly girl that cakes on make up and falsies. To me Lorde has very relaxed casual look and it seem that she wears minimal to no make up.
In the last year Lorde's look has changed slightly but very noticeable. In my eyes she's gone from being this wild care free girl to being that exact same girl with just a little more GLAM, which I love btw!

Make up wise Lorde doesn't really give you much to look at in awh. Her look usually consist of a very light coverage foundation with your occasional winged liner, accompanied by her usual bold dark berry and my favorite plum lipstick which gives her that extra oomph!

Initially I was quite surprised that mac decided to give her a lipstick  and I thought that I was going to pass on it but after receiving this lippie over the weekend I am happy to say that I didn't on this lipstick. I don't have anything in my collection to dupe it so its unique to me for the moment! I love the texture amps are definitely my summer fav you can never have to much moisture, and the color is build-able. Pure Heroine is double plus in my book I think I'll get a lot of use out of it this fall!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Palette

I finally gave in purchased from ABH mainly because I finally got around to applying for my ABHpro discount 35% and free shipping can be very tempting.... So apparently everyone owns this lavish palette and it's overly raved about I passed on it initially but since it was released with only the shadows I decide to go ahead and take the plunge and buy it myself .  I own every naked and neutral palette under the sun so get this was just an impulse buy for me. When I first received the palette I was confused on how small the palette was it little fit in a bubble wrap envelope. The packing was a flimsy cardboard nothing fancy like my UD palette but I will say the plastic lavish slip was very graphic and cute. The colors in my opinion where just okay nothing mind blowing and extravagant I have colors similar to them in other palettes that have better quality. The shadows have descent pigmentation without a primer some are slightly chalky but overall the palette is just okay in my opinion if you own anything from UD then this palette isn't like a must have but it'll do great for traveling since it's so tiny you could easy throw it in your purse on the go looks. Overall I think that the lavish palette is simply okay and overly hyped but at the same time I do believe that it's worth $24.00 but nothing over that.

Shadow Colors:
Cream - matte light peach slighly chalky
Antique - Satin Taupe *
Rum Cake - Satin brass tan *
Moss - rich satin green
Truffle - satin warm chocolate brown *
Ballet - shimmer light pink
Orange Soda - matte light orange similar to (cream and ballet)
Sienna - matte highly pigmented red brown*
Pink Sapphire - satin burgundy
♡Black Diamond - Shimmery Dark Brown                                                                                                    (almost black) with golden reflex

Too Face Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue

Hands down this has to be the best primer I've tried since I've been doing make up. I've been using The Original Too Faced SI for a few years and I must say that Too Faced is my favorite cosmetic brand when it comes to primers. I started experimenting with glitter in my make up looks about a year ago but it always seemed to be such a hassle to apply glitter without getting fall out everywhere. I've used two different adhesive methods like the lash glue and the sally girl gel, but honestly none of those methods compare to just using the TFSI glitter glue. After only one use of this product I find myself literately swearing by it. Like it's sister primers this glitter glue retails for $20 which can be a little pricey for some but it's well worth it because a little goes a long way with Too Faced .  All you need is needle size amount for each eye apply your product everywhere you'll be adding your loose pigment or glitter and you're set. I applied my product with a large shadier brush and I swear The TFSI glitter glue just grabbed everything like a magnet in one even coat. To top things off I even fell asleep with my eyeshadow on and to my surprise my eyeshadow and glitter was still perfectly intact. I literately woke up with NO Smudging, or Creasing just a FLAWLESS Glittery cat eye!

MAC Fall 2014 Lipstick Forecast

I know I know everyone is tired of the fall months and completely over the windy cold days, but guess what it's spring time!

Although this fall weather is completely overrated I couldn't help but get myself ready for next winter. I never knew  MAC made forecast palettes but I glad that they have them because now I can get these to prepare myself for the seasons to come. The Fall 2014 forecast is my first forecast and lipstick palette. I'll be honest and say that I was a little on the fence about getting this because I'm so use to traveling with tubes but after receiving the palette I think the forecast palette is a good way to get a taste of what's to come!   SWATCHES COMING SOON
